Take 5 Minutes To Think About:
→ How many locations you operate
→ What booking system, CRM or POS you
use and if it's centralized across locations
Do we need to offer a discount for clients to come back?
Not always. Sometimes a good offer helps. Sometimes the best message is just a personal check-in or making it easy to book again. We’ll look at your business, margins, and client list before recommending anything. The goal is not to train clients to wait for discounts. The goal is to bring the right clients back.
What if our clients stopped coming back for a reason?
That’s exactly why the outreach needs to be handled carefully. Some clients stopped because they were unhappy. Some got busy. Some forgot. Some moved. Some just fell out of their normal routine. We don’t assume every lapsed client should be treated the same. The goal is to reach out in a respectful way, find out what happened, and give the right clients a simple path to come back.
Will this create more work for my team?
No. That’s the point. Your team should not have to run the recovery campaign, write the scripts, manage follow-up, call lapsed clients, figure out who to contact first, and then run analytics on everything. We handle the recovery work. Your team may need to help with basic access, approvals, and normal bookings once clients come back. But this shouldn't become another project dumped on your front desk or managers.
Can we approve the message before anyone reaches out?
Yes. Before outreach starts, we’ll conceptually align with you on the message, the tone, the offer, and the basic approach. These are your clients, so the outreach needs to feel like your business. No generic scripts. No weird call-center language. No aggressive messages that make your brand look bad.
What if we already have someone following up with lapsed clients?
That’s good. Most businesses should have some follow-up. The question is whether it is consistent, prioritized, tracked, and actually bringing clients back. A lot of teams follow up when they have time. Or they send a few generic texts or emails. That is different from a real recovery operation. We focus on most is most likely to come back, the message, timing, and follow-up.
Do you work with our current booking system?
Usually, yes. We don’t need you to switch booking systems just to work with us. If your system can show who booked before, who paid before, when they last came in, what service they got, and how to reach them, that is usually enough to start. We can talk through your setup on the call. If the data is there, we can usually find a way to work with it.
What if our lapsed-client list is old?
That’s not automatically a problem. Some old clients are too cold. Some are still worth reaching out to. The key is knowing the difference. We look at when they last came in, what they bought, how often they came in, and what they were worth. We do not want to blast everyone. We want the clients most likely to come back.
Who is this not a good fit for?
This is probably not a fit if you have very low client volume, no usable client list, no way to contact past clients, or a very low average service value. It is also not a fit if you just want a cheap automation tool or one-time email blast. If the recovery math does not make sense, we’ll tell you.
Is this only for beauty, massage, spa, and wax businesses?
No. Those are the businesses we are focused on right now because the math usually works well there. They have repeat clients, missed appointments, memberships, packages, and lapsed revenue sitting in their booking systems. But the model can work in other industries too. The real question is whether you have enough lapsed clients to make recovery worth it.
